Aavya Pottery Retreats: Three Days of Clay, Creativity & Conscious Living

At Aavya, our three-day pottery retreats are designed as a gentle immersion into creativity, healing, and stillness. Each day unfolds like a rhythm — balancing movement, art, meditation, and free time — all held in the quiet embrace of the Tapovan hills.

Begin the Day with Movement

Your mornings start early, with a choice between yoga or mindful movement sessions. These sessions awaken the body, center the breath, and prepare you for the creative hours ahead.

Pottery, Sculpting & Self-Practice

By mid-morning, you step into the pottery and art studio — a space of earth, fire, and imagination. Each day includes:

Two hours of guided practice with a teacher, learning pottery on the wheel, sculpting, and working with clay.

Two hours of self-practice, where you can explore at your own pace — shaping, experimenting, or simply being with the clay.

Afternoons are slow and open. You might spend more time in the studio, sit with a sketchpad, or simply walk along the terraces and forest trails behind Aavya.

Evenings of Inner Work

Evenings bring you inward, with a rotation of restorative practices:

Yoga Nidra — the art of deep relaxation.

Guided meditation.

Sound healing sessions with gongs and soothing frequencies.

Yama Yoga — exploring stillness through yogic philosophy and gentle practice.

Some evenings feature one of these, others bring two or more together — creating an atmosphere of discovery and calm.

Nights of Silence & Clay

As the night settles, the retreat slows into its most magical rhythm. Guests often find themselves back in the pottery and art studio, letting hands move freely over clay in quiet, candlelit moments. Others stroll the forest paths or terraces, simply breathing in the stillness of Tapovan’s night.

This retreat is more than a schedule — it’s a way of being. The days pass not in rush, but in layers of movement, earth, stillness, and self-expression. And if you’d like, you can also speak with us about adding power sessions — more focused practices to deepen your personal journey.

✨ Three days, infinite moments — a retreat where clay, breath, and silence shape you as much as you shape them.
