About the Retreat
Independence Day & Janmashtmi
From 14–17 August at Aavya, Tapovan, “In Devotion: To the Self, the Mother India & Lord Krishna” is a three-night, bhakti-led escape where Independence Day meets Janmashtami. We journey from inner stillness to patriotic celebration to divine play—morning yoga and a spa reset, a Vande Mataram–inspired Bhakti Jam, a secret waterfall trek, Ganga Aarti, pottery and Krishna sculpting, and a starry-night kirtan—plus a personal podcast recording to make it a lifelong memory.

Program Overview
What to Expect
A Long Weekend of Devotion, Creativity & Celebration
This August, join us at Aavya for a rare four days where the heart beats in rhythm with the nation and the soul dances with devotion.
From the quiet focus of morning yoga to the joyous colors of art and pottery, from the healing touch of the spa to the power of music under the open sky — each day unfolds like a story, woven with moments you’ll carry long after you leave.
We’ll trek to hidden waterfalls, stand by the Ganga for evening aarti, sing and sway in Krishna’s name on Janmashtami, and share in the spirit of Independence Day through music, movement, and art.
