Not at all. The day retreat is open to everyone — whether you're staying in Tapovan, visiting Rishikesh for the day, or just passing through. Room guests do get an additional 10% discount on activities.

Comfortable clothes you can move in, a water bottle, and an open mind. Yoga mats, pottery tools, and all materials are provided. If you're coming for a spa session, we provide towels and everything you need.
Absolutely. You can pick a single pottery session or one movement class. There’s no minimum — design your day however you like.
The more sessions you add, the more you save. 2 activities get you 10% off, 3 activities get you 15% off, and 4+ activities unlock 20% off all priced activities for the day. Sound healing requests have no price until confirmed.
Aavya is in Upper Tapovan, about 15 minutes by auto or scooter from Ram Jhula. We recommend using our detailed directions page rather than Google Maps, as it can be unreliable in the winding lanes of Upper Tapovan. Look for landmarks like 60s Café and Ganesha Palace.
Morning sessions start around 7:30 AM, and evening sessions wrap up by 8 PM. You're welcome to arrive anytime and stay as long as your chosen activities run. The café is open throughout the day.
