About Aavya
Aavya is a small, independently-run boutique stay tucked into the quiet upper slopes of Tapovan — close to the forest, above the noise of the main bazaar, and only a short walk from the Ganga. Part guesthouse, part pottery studio, part yoga shala, part recording room, part café. A home for people who treat creativity as a way of living.
Our days move with the light. Mornings open with yoga, breathwork or a slow walk down to the river. Afternoons drift into the pottery studio. Evenings often turn musical — a sound circle, an open mic, or a chai conversation that runs long past dinner.

…take that with a pinch of salt. We've been optimistic about opening dates before. But truly — this time we're very excited, and very close.

Our blog is called Tapovan Times — stories from the retreat, notes from the village, recipes from the café, and things we've been thinking about. We don't publish on a schedule. We publish when something is worth saying.
Close enough to everything. Far enough from the noise. Aavya sits in Upper Tapovan — 1.5 km from Lakshman Jhula, above the main road bustle, on the forest edge with mountain views. You can walk to the Ganga in 20 minutes and come back to silence.
Still far enough up that you won't hear the traffic. Still close enough that Rishikesh is entirely yours when you want it.
